Driver's License Process
Driving Lessons
First Step
Pass the written exam.

Complete Driver’s Education course online. (You can take our DMV approved course online).

Register in our DMV approved course online.
-
Must be 15 ½ to 17 years old.

If 17 ½ years old and under 18 don’t need Driver’s Ed.

Will receive a Certificate-of-Completion.

Take and pass written exam at DMV.

Obtain a learner’s permit.

Second Step
Car Driving Training.
STEP 2: Car Driving Training

Must complete a minimum of 6 hours with an instructor.

Take 2 hours per day.

Must have permit signed by instructor before driving with parents.

Ideally take all 6 hours within 2 weeks for better learning purposes.

You can always add more hours to be better prepared for driving test.

Will receive a certificate-of-completion.

DMV Driving Test.
STEP 3: DMV Driving Test

Wait 6 months from permit issued date.

Complete 50 hours with parents.

Make an appointment for driving exam.

Bring Learner's permit and certificate-of-completion.
