Can I change or cancel my appointment?A: You may change or cancel any appointment at any time. However, if you cancel or change any appointment the same day, or without 24 hours prior notification of the appointment scheduled date, you will be subject to a $ 60.00 cancellation fee

Is your Company Licensed?A: Yes. Our company is licensed by the State of California through the Department of Motor Vehicles. Our company is also insured and bonded.

I lost my driving school certificate, what should I do?"A: Every student will be issued a certificate of completion immediately after the completion of his / her 3rd session of driver training. An administrative fee will be charged for any lost certificate

What type of training can I expect during my sessions?A: Our training sessions offers street smart defensive driving everywhere from busy traffic streets to freeways and parking lots. Parallel parking and drive test preparation are also offered. Please keep in mind to cover all sessions it will depend exclusively on student learning skills. Do you teach teenagers only?A: We train teens, adults, and those with driving related fears

How does the payment process work?A: Expenses will depend on the package deal you buy from us. We offer "pay in full", "pay as you go" plan, and other options.

Are your training sessions private?A: You will always receive individual private training sessions. We'll never place you in group training with other students at the same time. However, on certain occasions the instructor will have to drive prior student home. Different instructors are on request.

Can you pick me up and drop me off at different locations?A: We are able to drop you off at a different location from original pick up address most of the time. However, sometimes we advise against it because travel time counts towards your instruction time.

Do I need to have auto insurance?A: No, we carry our own auto insurance (commercial insurance).

Are passengers allowed to come along during instruction?A: We are against any other passenger in the car while taking formal instruction, but in certain occasions it is allowed. Although our insurance provider must authorize such event.

What are the requirements to enroll in your driving school?A: In order to enroll in our driving school all you have to do is register in our Online Driving Education Program and provide us with your personal information such as legal name, address, phone number, and date of birth. You can sign up for classes by visiting our office, or over the phone.

How old must I be to start taking driver's education (Classroom or on-line)?A. Legally there is no age requirement for driver's education program, although we recommend you to start your process at the age of 15 1/2 or later.

How long must I keep my learner’s permit before taking my driving exam if I am under 18?A. You must maintain your learner's permit for a minimum of 6 months or until you turn 18.

How old must I be to apply for a learner’s permit?A. Minimum age is 15 ½ years old if you enroll in a private driving school

What are the restrictions on minor´s learner’s permit?A: Your learners permit is not valid until you begin driver training with an instructor, he/she will sign the permit to validate it. You must practice with a licensed California driver: parent, guardian, driving instructor, spouse, or an adult 25 years old or older. Must wait six months after obtaining learners permit to be able to take driving exam, unless you turned 18 years old before 6 months. Teenagers are banned from using their cell phones either for texting or talking. They are not even allowed to use their hands free while driving. Not just phones, other electronic devices including laptops are also not allowed to be used when driving iPod, ipad.

When do I go to the DMV to apply for my learner’s permit and what do I need to bring with me?A: You can go to DMV once you are finished with our Driver’s Education course. At DMV you have to fill out an application DL44 signed by your parents, pay the fee of $33, bring your social security, a certified copy of your birth certificate, along with proof of completion of the driver’s education course, etc. Please check Minors button for more details.

Is it possible to obtain a learner’s permit without taking a driver education class?A: You may apply for a learner's permit at the age of 17 ½, but you will not be issued a license until you either take a driver education course, or turn 18 years of age

Do I have to apply for my learner’s permit at the DMV closest to my house?A: You may apply for a learner's permit at any DMV in the State of California.

When I obtain my learner’s permit, is it legal for me to begin driving right away?"A: Before driving, you must first take one driving lesson with a professional driving instructor who signs your permit. This lesson validates your permit.

Do my parent's or guardian have to be with me when I drive?A: You have to drive with anyone who is 25 years of age or older, with a valid California license and with your parents' permission

How long is my learner’s permit good for?A: One year.

Is it OK to drive with my learner’s permit in another state?A: In most cases you are permitted to drive in other states as long as you have someone with you 25 years of age or older with a valid California license. However, you should check the driving rules in each state you wish to drive in.

With my learner’s permit can I drive with my friends in the car?A: Yes, as long as you have someone with you who is 25 years of age or older with a valid California driver license.

How much do I have to pay DMV to take the written exam?A. $33.00. This payment will make you entitled to three tries, but you will be required to wait one week between attempts.

Is it OK to drive with a learner’s permit after dark?A. During the first 12 months you are licensed to drive, you must be accompanied by a driver 25 years of age or older if you drive between the hours of 11 p.m. and 5 a.m

When I’m driving with a learner’s permit, does the licensed driver supervising me have any rules?"A: Must have a valid driver license and be 25 years old or older. The licensed driver must be in the front seat of the vehicle, sober and awake, and able to control the car in case of an emergency.

Can I ride a motorcycle or motor scooter on a public surface street with my class “C” learner’s permit?A. It is illegal to ride a motorcycle even in a parking lot without a motorcycle learner’s permit or license. If you do, you may be cited and have your motorcycle impounded (private property or gated property does not apply).

Can I take driving lessons in my parent´s car?A. No. All of the first 6 hours of driving lessons must be provided by a licensed driving instructor in a dual controlled training vehicle.

If I am stopped by a police officer, who gets the ticket, me or the supervising party?"A: Any moving violations issued by a police officer will apply to the driving record of the driver, even if they only have a learner’s permit.

If my learner’s permit expires, do I have to retake the driver’s education course?"A. No, but you will be required to submit a new application, pay $33.00 fee, retake the written and eye tests.

With a learner’s permit, is it legal to drive a large truck?"A. Yes, but only up to 26,000 gross vehicles weight. Not for hire (no air brakes).

Can I drive anybody’s vehicle as long as I have someone with me who is 25 years of age with a valid California License?A: Yes, but first, you must have your parent’s permission and vehicle owner’s permission to drive the car. Second, the vehicle must be currently insured.
